  Dear Old Ealonians and Friends

Welcome to the Old Ealonians’ website.

This site is for former pupils of Ealing County School for Boys, Ealing Grammar School for Boys and Ealing Green High School and for those who may be interested in those schools, which occupied the building on the Green, at Ealing, between 1913 and 1992.

Visitors may contact me, the Editor, to post news, recollections of their time at the school and to comment or raise queries.

Members of the Old Ealonians’ Association are able to keep  up with details of current and planned social events being run by the Association.

Contact details of members of the committee are available on the ‘Contact Us’ page and the Editor’s email address is shown on this page.

Many thanks to those of you who have submitted material for inclusion on the website.  I has been a pleasure being in contact with you and your recollections and photos bring this website to life and bring back memories to those who visit the site.

If others would like to comment on any of these matters or contribute your own observations and recollections of life at the school, please do not hesitate to make contact.

The Association is still unable to fully access the Santander Bank account in which its funds are held.

There has also been problems with the payment of members’ annual subscriptions

Our Treasurer, Victor Boulter, advises that he is presently unable to produce an Annual Report

The last Treasurer’s Report was produced for the year 2022 by our previous Treasurer and he resigned without producing a report for 2023.

Difficulties accessing the account are preventing the production of a report on the state of our funds in 2024.

As a retired Bank manager for Barclays, Victor is obviously is just the man for the task and, hopefully, he should shortly have the matter under control.

As soon as this is resolved we will be able to hold an Annual General Meeting, prior to which a newsletter will be issued.

Apologies to those of you who have contributed and are looking forward to seeing your efforts in print
